With strategically placed manufacturing locations in Ancaster, ON, Montreal, QC, Leduc, AB and Wetaskiwin, AB, Vulcraft Canada is able to successfully serve our customers throughout the Canadian market. ON BEHALF OF VULCRAFT CANADA, INC. Primary FunctionsEstimate Project Costs: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for steel joists and deck products based on customer specifications, structural and architectural drawings, and other relevant information. Ensure that all estimates are competitive and align with Vulcraft pricing strategies. Customer Relationship Management: Take care of customers and build strong, durable, loyal relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their requirements. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention. Proposal Development: Create professional and persuasive proposals that clearly outline the scope of work, pricing, and delivery timelines. Ensure all proposals are accurate, well-organized, and aligned with customer expectations. Technical Support/Business Development: Lead the lunch & learn/Business development efforts for VCW with the EOR and product specifiers. Support Fabricator, AOR, EOR, and Developer/GC throughout the sales process. Answer inquiries, provide product information, and offer guidance on the best solutions for their projects. Minimum Education Requirements And Qualifications

  • Bachelor of science in Civil Engineering
  • One or more years of experience in the steel joist & deck or Steel industry is preferred
  • Design, estimating and/or steel detailing experience is preferred
  • Experience in reading structural and architectural drawings, project specifications, along with general understanding of the construction process is preferred
  • Willingness to advance and relocate to a Nucor facility or another District Sales Office in the future is preferred
  • Canadian resident with the ability to travel across North America.
  • Valid passport as travel will be required.
  • Willing to travel for business development meetings, customer visits and other engagements
