Role Overview
R.O.B.O is seeking a Robotics Operations Coordinator to oversee daily operations within an automated warehouse or industrial facility in Vancouver. The role involves ensuring that robotic systems and automation equipment operate smoothly throughout the facility while maintaining operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day operations within a robotics-enabled warehouse or industrial facility
• Monitor and support the operation of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), conveyor systems, and automation equipment
• Ensure robots are properly deployed, positioned, and functioning efficiently
• Monitor system dashboards and operational data to identify potential issues or downtime risks
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
• Support effective collaboration between human operators and robotic systems
• Maintain operational reports, logs, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational standards
• Assist in coordinating preventive maintenance for robotic and automation systems
Required Qualifications
• Educational background in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems or robotics environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to monitor system performance and identify operational issues
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced automation-driven warehouse or industrial environments
Preferred Experience
• Experience working with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), AGVs, or warehouse automation systems
• Experience in logistics, distribution centers, or industrial automation environments
• Familiarity with automation monitoring software or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting
