Position: ETL Data TesterLocation: Toronto OntarioKey Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering and analyze business rules and data mapping documents.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL validation.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows for accuracy and consistency.
• Perform data quality checks including record counts, data type verifications, null handling, duplicate detection, and aggregate validation.
• Conduct comparative data analysis using SQL and other tools to ensure data integrity across source and target systems.
• Log defects, document issues, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve data-related problems.
• Perform cube testing and browse data warehouses using SQL Server Management Studio, BIDS, or equivalent tools.
• Support deployment planning and participate in release activities to verify data quality before production release.
• Maintain documentation related to test cases, results, and ETL testing procedures.
• Work within Agile frameworks and cooperate with offsite and onsite teams as needed.
