*Senior Platform Engineer – 100% Remote

Senior Platform Engineer – Remote Exciting 12-month contract in the insurance industry for an experienced platform engineer skilled in Terraform, Jenkins, Azure, and Databricks. Work on cutting-edge Data & AI infrastructure in a hybrid/remote setup, contributing to strategic AIOps initiatives and GenAI adoption. What is in it for you:

• Salaried: $68 to $72 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $82 to $86 per hour.
• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities: You will support a strategic initiative within the Global Wealth and Asset Management line of business, focused on building and maintaining scalable Data & AI platforms on Azure cloud infrastructure. The role involves extensive use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and AIOps capabilities with tools like Log Analytics Workspaces and Moogsoft.

• Build and manage platform components using predefined IaC modules and DevOps tools.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and related services.
• Design, implement, and support AIOps capabilities using modern observability tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including security, risk, and architecture, to ensure alignment with compliance and operational standards.
• Manage and update tasks in JIRA; participate actively in daily and weekly Agile standups.
• Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Relevant technical certifications preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with Terraform.
• 7+ years of experience deploying and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• 5+ years of experience with APIM/APIOps.
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks or similar Datalake/lakehouse platform administration.
• Experience with AI/GenAI stack build and operations (nice-to-have).
• Experience in Data & Analytics project environments (nice-to-have).
• Platform automation using Python or other scripting tools (nice-to-have).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
