Junior Project Planner

Type of position: Regular Your future role on our team BBA is currently seeking a project planner. Under the supervision of a senior planner, your role will consist of preparing and monitoring schedules. With us, you’ll get the opportunity to...

• Develop and update schedules for all project phases: engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning
• Ensure project planning, organization and monitoring using tools like Primavera P6
• Analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for the project or study manager
• Produce progress reports and performance indicators
• Update schedules, both weekly and monthly
• Prepare reports and maintain ties with project management to plan activities and project scheduling
• Maintain all planning and progress reports
• Propose solutions to project managers to correct identified gaps and adhere to schedules
• Exercise independent judgement in selecting, filing, compiling and analyzing data from various sources
• Carry out all other related tasks that could help deliver projects

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• College diploma or university degree
• At least three years of relevant experience, ideally in the industrial or mining sectors
• Knowledge of design and construction processes
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Primavera P6
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
• Asset: available to travel
• Asset: experience with EPCM projects
