Our client, a well-established civil construction company specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, and roadworks, is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for a new earthworks and utilities project near Edmonton, starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, scheduling, procurement, and document control for site operations.
- Support coordination between site superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
- Track progress, update project reports, and assist with issue resolution.
- Help manage change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
- Participate in internal and external project meetings.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in civil construction.
- Familiarity with earthworks and underground utilities; experience on industrial or large-scale infrastructure projects is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with MS Office; experience with project scheduling tools is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
