Job Summary We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various architectural projects, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software. The Architect will collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to bring visions to life while adhering to project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities

  • Develop and present architectural designs that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Create detailed drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Conduct site assessments to gather information for design considerations.
  • Collaborate with consultants and other professionals to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into designs.
  • Prepare construction documents and detailed drawings for bidding purposes.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
  • Draft sketches and conceptual designs to communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and incorporate feedback into designs.
  • Ensure compliance with detailing standards, building codes, by-laws, and requirements for accessibility
  • Lead and assist junior staff - Willing to teach and help others expand their skills as a team Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized University with a degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe and Microsoft Suites.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in budgeting and construction estimating is preferred but not required.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
