Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role located in Saskatoon, SK. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring accuracy in prescriptions. Key responsibilities include supporting patients with health management, maintaining compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, and promoting store health initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers, offering advice on over-the-counter products, and mentoring pharmacy support staff to uphold a high standard of care.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist license valid in the province of Saskatchewan
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, including dispensing medications, advising on drug interactions, and monitoring potential side effects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and healthcare providers
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for clinical and operational challenges
  • Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy software and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and quality service
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is considered an asset
