Job Title: Data Architect - Senior
Location: Edmonton Alberta
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: $90- $100/hr. CAD
Must Have:
- Completed training with structured Query Languages specific to Microsoft T-SQL and/or Oracle and/or PL/SQL, and database development. Yes
- Obtained training within the past 5-10 years relating to Cloud Computing and Microsoft Azure and Azure Architecture Yes
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered; formal education strongly preferred). Yes
- Demonstrated experience defining data architecture and using Kimball architecture to develop data marts. 5 years
- Experience working in or with public-sector environments with awareness of public-sector constraints, privacy legislation (e.g., FOIP). 2 years
- Proposed resource has agreed to a Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance including a credit check prior to commencement. Yes
- Per the job description, is the job seeker able to attend onsite meetings when requested Yes
- Experience developing using software such as SAP/Sybase's PowerDesigner, or ERWin, or Oracle Designer, or SQL Developer Data Modeler, or Microsoft Visio, etc. 5 years
- Experience using JOIN (Justice Online Information Network) and JIMS (Justice Information Management System) data and data structures, and knowledge of business rules based on Judicial processes 3 years
- Experience working in or with Court environments, with awareness of the importance of judicial independence. 2 years
- Experience working with information management and cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidelines within limited timelines. 1 years
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making. 5 years
