Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Senior Accountant, located in Montreal, QC. The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, month-end and year-end closing processes, and general ledger oversight. The role also involves tax compliance, supervising junior accounting staff, personal and corporate income tax returns. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Financial Reporting, General Ledger Management, and Month-End or Year-End Closing;
• Fully Bilingual
• Personal and corporate income tax (T1 and T2);
• Skills in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Familiarity with Accounting Software and ERP Systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior experience in supervising a team is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment
