Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Commission Sales Representative, based in Alberta, with work-from-home flexibility.

Independent agents also welcomed to apply.

The role involves building and managing client relationships in the coatings industry, identifying potential leads, and driving sales for PPI’s range of high-performance coatings and equipment.

Responsibilities include presenting PPI’s system solutions tailored to client needs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.

Regular communication and reporting will also be an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with experience in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience, knowledge, and track recored selling polyurethane, polyurea, traffic and pedestrian deck coatings, high-performance industrial floor coatings, and related equipment.

Have established, valued relationships in the oil & gas, mining, LNG, and industrial/commercial construction industries.

  • Relationship-building, communication, and customer service skills for managing client accounts effectively.
  • Create and provide timely material quotes for professional contractors and asset owners

.

  • Proficiency in understanding technical products or willingness to learn about protective coatings and equipment.
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, reporting systems, and basic computer applications.
  • A results-driven mindset paired with adaptability in hybrid work environments.
  • Prior experience in coatings, equipment, or industrial sales is an asset but not required.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
