We are currently looking for a Sr Project Engineer to join our team. The Sr Project Engineer provides engineering support across all project phases — from concept development through commissioning. This role involves preparing work scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The position works closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Maintenance, Operations, and Logistics teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate engineering design, procurement, construction, and turnover activities.
  • Develop detailed scope, schedule, and cost plans for assigned projects.
  • Gather technical requirements from Operations and Maintenance stakeholders.
  • Manage engineering consultants, contractors, and internal resources.
  • Support technical reviews, RFIs, and change management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Integrate health, safety, and risk management principles into project design.
  • Track progress, report status updates, and support project documentation

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Previous experience with Piping and Mechanical projects.
  • P.Eng Designation register with APEGS
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary industrial projects.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with computers
  • Knowledgeable with the Microsoft Suite of programs, including MS Project
  • Demonstrate an understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrate active listening and an ability to communicate technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
