Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in updating budgets on monthly basis
• Track budgets vs. actual expenditures and investigate variances
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction field
• Good understanding of budgeting and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial analysis)
• Familiarity with Newstar is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
