Bookkeeper

We are hiring an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's growing team in Coquitlam, BC.

This is a full-time, permanent position working with a stable and busy company. You will handle full-cycle accounting and keep daily office operations running smoothly.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: From $60,000 per year
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
• Location: Coquitlam, BC (On-site parking provided)

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting using hosted offline QuickBooks.
• Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly payroll and benefits for 5 management and 20 hourly employees using Ceridian (including full data entry and uploads).
• Front Desk & Reception: Greet visitors, manage a multi-line phone system, and handle appointment scheduling.
• Administrative Support: Manage calendars, proofread documents, and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
• Customer Service: Answer client inquiries via phone and email with professional etiquette.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: Proven administrative and full-cycle accounting experience in an office environment.
• Software: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (offline/hosted version) and Ceridian payroll software.
• Tech Skills: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Soft Skills: Top-tier communication, exceptional organization, and strict attention to detail.
