- Support planning and execution of meetings, briefings, and events—handling logistics, materials, and follow-ups.
- Manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Track and help move forward special projects involving the Publisher, including initiatives related to editorial, business development, partnerships, and events.
- Handle incoming correspondence, prioritize requests, and ensure timely responses or delegation.
- Anticipate the needs of the Publisher and take initiative to improve administrative systems and workflows.
- Attend occasional events outside of regular work hours as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business and media environment.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and engaging style.
- Organizational Skills: A natural multitasker with an eye for detail, capable of managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, calendar management tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Professionalism: Exceptional discretion and reliability when handling confidential information and high-level communications.
- Interest in Politics/Media: A genuine interest in politics, policy, or journalism is a strong asset.
- Bilingual: English/French bilingualism is an asset, but not required.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work environment: Working from both home and the Ottawa office.
