Senior Design Manager

Senior Design Manager with strong experience in mass transit and MEP engineering to lead and manage conformance reviews of station and guideway design packages. The ideal candidate must have Ontario P.Eng, cross-functional leadership skills, and expertise in design reviews, clash detection, and project coordination.Must have P.Eng. from Ontario only.Key words:P.Eng Ontario, Mass Transit or Mainline, Rail Engineering, Subway Rail Station Design, BIM MEP Engineering, Systems Engineering, Guideway Design, Systems Design, Multi-disciplinary Design Review, Clash Detection and Design Conformance Review.

Tools: Microsoft Project, Primavera, MS Office, Bluebeam, Requirements Management Tools and Configuration Management Tools

Job Description-Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, mass transit engineering, subway station design, and MEP engineering.
• Prior experience with basic project management.
• Solid understanding of clash detection principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, MS Project or Primavera, requirements management systems, and software configuration tools.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects and teams.
• Proven ability to lead and engage cross-functional teams with varying levels of experience.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Design).
• Ontario P.Eng. is mandatory.
