Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to support a large enterprise client in Vancouver. This role will be responsible for the consolidation of financial results across a complex, multi-entity organization using Oracle EPM, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes, including:
- Intercompany eliminations
- Foreign currency translation
- Consolidation adjustments
- Maintain and enhance consolidation structures, reporting hierarchies, and entity rollups within Oracle EPM.
- Prepare financial reporting workpapers, account reconciliations, cash flow reports, and variance analyses.
- Support governance initiatives, SOX compliance, internal controls, audit requests, and master data management activities.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Operations, and IT teams to support reporting requirements and system enhancements.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- CPA or other recognized professional accounting designation.
- 5–8+ years of experience in financial consolidation within a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise consolidation and reporting platforms such as:
- Oracle EPM (FCCS)
- Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- OneStream
- SAP
- Anaplan
- Strong understanding of:
- Consolidation accounting principles
- Intercompany eliminations
- Foreign exchange (FX) translation
- Non-controlling interests (NCI)
- Equity accounting
- Experience working with complex ownership structures and legal entity hierarchies.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience with systems administration, metadata management, or master data governance.
- Strong documentation, process design, and internal controls experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS, JD Edwards (JDE), BI/reporting tools, SOX compliance, and automation initiatives is considered an asset.
