Senior Accountant

A well-established, multi-entity healthcare organization in downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is a fit if you enjoy owning the details, working in a structured environment, and want a stable, long-term position with a team that values solid accounting fundamentals.

Location: Downtown Toronto

Work Model: Fully onsite

Salary: $75,000–$85,000

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle accounting: journal entries, month-end close, and general ledger maintenance
• Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
• Bank and credit card reconciliations; investigation and resolution of variances
• Accounting schedules: accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
• Monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages
• ERP usage and enhancements (NetSuite experience is a strong asset)
• Process improvement identification and implementation support

What You Bring

• 5–7 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Strong full-cycle background with solid GAAP/ASPE knowledge
• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, data analysis) -- Excel testing is part of the interview process
• Degree or diploma in Accounting
• CPA designation or actively working toward CPA is preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable -- comfortable in a fully onsite structure
