With field operations in Alberta, we deliver production of approximately 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent/day. TAQA North is seeking a Supplier Invoicing Support Analyst to join our Finance team in our downtown Calgary office. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of supplier invoices and employee expenses. This role supports both our Calgary office and field operations, contributing to efficient financial processes and strong supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal business groups to ensure AP invoices meet submission and compliance requirements
  • Analyze and process PO and non‑PO invoices in accordance with established payment terms
  • Apply complex coding structures to invoices within OpenInvoice
  • Process employee business expense reimbursements in alignment with company policy
  • Respond to invoice inquiries and complete supplier statement reconciliations
  • Review, analyze, and code production fluid hauling and processing invoices using the trucking ticket application
  • Promote supplier adoption of OpenTicket and OpenInvoice for electronic submissions
  • Provide application support and training to suppliers to ensure accurate and compliant entries
  • Prepare and submit requests for supplier account updates, new supplier setups, and EFT payment configurations
  • Review and approve weekly payment run reports for the Treasury Department
  • Prepare correcting journal entries and upload files into the financial system as required
  • Support additional duties, projects, and process improvements as needed

Qualifications:

  • Post‑secondary education; an accounting diploma or related field is preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience; internships and co‑op experience will be considered
  • Oil & Gas industry experience is an asset
  • Experience with Qbyte, OpenInvoice, and processing Purchase Order invoices is an asset
  • Knowledge of reviewing and coding production fluid hauling and processing invoices is an asset
  • Proficient with various computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and industry applications such as Qbyte and OpenInvoice
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging technology to learn and enhance skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Ability to provide three satisfactory professional references and complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
