JOIN A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS AND WORK IN A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT!Based in Montreal and reporting to the Vice President, Construction, the Project Manager assumes full responsibility for the projects assigned to them, including leading consultants, managing budgets, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Oversee the full coordination and execution of construction site activities;
- Ensure site safety management in collaboration with all project stakeholders;
- Monitor, control, and update construction costs, including the opening and closing of CNESST files;
- Communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders, including the owner, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.;
- Provide support to Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents on site;
- Manage shop drawings: receive, review for compliance, forward for consultant approval, and return to the relevant subcontractors;
- Organize, manage, and lead site meetings with suppliers/subcontractors and project consultants; prepare, draft, and distribute meeting minutes to stakeholders;
- Manage, analyze, and distribute site instructions and change notices issued by consultants;
- Prepare cost estimates related to change notices and change directives;
- Integrate approved changes into contractual documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering, or a college diploma (DEC/technical diploma) in Architectural Technology;
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a similar role (developer, real estate owner, general contractor, etc.);
- Extensive knowledge of various construction systems.
