Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with knowledge in various aspects of Accounting to join our team.  This role requires attention to detail, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must have strong organization skills. Must be able to work on various tasks assigned at the same time and prioritize on an as-needed basis.

• This role will include, but not be limited to:
• Process, update and create transactions in the ERP system.
• Work closely with Project Managers to update job costs, billing milestones, change orders, etc.
• Assist Accounts Payable with vouchering invoices, resolve issues with PO variances, and follow-up with PO receipts not vouchered.
• General Ledger expense account reconciliations and prepare Journal entries.
• Provide back-up to Reception as needed.
• Assist Payroll with time entries as needed.
• Any additional duties assigned.

Skills Required

• Microsoft office experience required.
• Recognized Accounting designation or more than 3 years accounting experience.
• Experience with processing various transactions in an ERP accounting system. Encompix knowledge is an asset.
• Good organizational and communication skills and be able to interact well with employees in all departments of the Company.
