We’re Hiring: Customer Service Professional – Group Insurance Benefits
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and making a difference in people’s lives? We’re seeking Customer Service Professionals to join our team and assist clients with their group plan insurance benefits.
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Employment Type: Contract | Hybrid ( 3 days in office)
Equipment Needs: Must have an Ethernet cable connection (no Wi-Fi) and a private, secure home workspace.
💼 A Typical Day in the Role:
As a Customer Service Professional, you will handle a variety of inquiries via phone, email, online chat, and follow-up, —supporting both internal and external clients. You’ll provide timely, accurate information and troubleshoot system or plan member issues while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Respond to customer inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and clarity
✔ Manage inbound calls and follow-up communication
✔ Troubleshoot plan-related questions and system issues
✔ Maintain compliance and quality standards
✔ Meet key performance indicators (AHT, ACW, Hold Time, NPS, Quality & Accuracy)
✅ What You Bring:
🔸 Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
🔸 Experience in customer-facing roles (contact center, retail, service industry)
🔸 Tech-savvy and comfortable using multiple systems simultaneously
✨ Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce and AWD Imaging Systems
