Job Description The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, 12-month contract, Research Coordinator within in the Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR). IMHPR is a key driver in building the knowledge base for policy decisions, development of mental health interventions, and health system improvement. The area of focus is on climate change and health and implications for populations experiencing poverty. Reporting to the Principal Investigator and Research Manager and working with a range of partners, your duties will include but are not limited to multiple administrative tasks, database management, original research including interviews, REB communications, and supporting learners, and stakeholder communications. You will contribute to scoping and systematic reviews and knowledge mobilization activities. Lived expertise and Indigenous engagement are key aspects of this work. You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements, and encourages recovery-oriented care. This position is primarily located at 250 College Street and 1025 Queen Street West. Qualifications The successful candidate must possess a Masters level degree in a health policy-focused field, with at least two (2) years of relevant experience and training related to equity deserving/systemically disadvantaged populations. Experience with literature reviews, qualitative research, and interdisciplinary teams in the area of climate justice, housing and health equity, intersectionality, and health equity is required. Experience collaborating with lived/community experts is required. Demonstrated experience developing and administering data collection tools using online data capture platforms such as REDCap within a research setting is required. Experience with Covidence for literature reviews is required. Experience communicating and coordinating with external stakeholders is required. Proficiency in PC software skills, including Microsoft Office and internet search engines is required. Detail oriented, well-organized, with a strong technical aptitude is required. Knowledge mobilization skills are required. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); and function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment. You have the ability for self-directed learning/working; while working concurrently on multiple projects. You possess strong knowledge and understanding of research design, data management, and ethical conduct of research in human participants, including GCP, RCR, and TCPS2 certification. Candidates must be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and with individuals with severe mental health challenges. Bilingualism (English/French) and/or proficiency in another language, lived expertise in areas pertinent to this project, and experience working with Indigenous peoples and communities are all assets. Salary Range: $37.51 - $50.60 per hour CAMH is a fully affiliated teaching hospital and research institute of the University of Toronto.
