Job Summary Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic and growing company? We’re looking for a detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team and support day-to-day HR operations across Canada. As a key member of our HR team, you’ll be responsible for accurate data entry and maintenance of employee records, onboarding and offboarding tasks, document management, reporting, and general administrative support. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion will help ensure smooth and efficient HR processes. - Enter and maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS (e.g., new hires, job changes, terminations)
- Prepare documentation for employee lifecycle events including offer letters, onboarding packages, and termination paperwork
- Maintain digital employee records in accordance with privacy and compliance standards
- Assist with the coordination and administration of employee programs such as benefits and retirement plan enrollment
- Generate standard HR reports and respond to internal data and information requests
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Provide administrative support to the HR team
- PTO plan maintenance and reporting
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role, preferably in a multi-location environment
- Experience working with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now experience is an asset)
- Familiarity with HR processes and documentation standards
- Bilingual (English and French) considered a strong asset
- Required onsite in the Dartmouth office Monday to Friday
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude and collaborative approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
