Job Description

We are seeking a high-caliber Entrepreneurial Leader and Steel Door & Hardware Specialist.
This is not a traditional management role; we are looking for a visionary professional with the drive and autonomy to set the foundation for our regional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Precision Estimating & Pre-Construction
- Prepare accurate bids, take-offs, and proposals (RFQs/RFPs) for both commercial and residential sectors.
- Review drawings and specifications to understand full scope, risks, and requirements across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical documents.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/supplier pricing and provide value engineering input to minimize risk exposure.
- Support tender submissions, clarifications, and post-tender activities.
2. Project Management & Scheduling
- Lead project meetings and site visits, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
- Oversee project execution, including scheduling, procurement, and coordination of field workers.
- Work closely with General Contractors to meet milestones and provide necessary resources.
- Monitor the construction plan and ensure all documentation and billing are completed in a timely manner.
3. Strategic Business & Operational Leadership
- Commercial Expansion: Actively develop the client portfolio to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Operational Excellence: Supervise daily operations, including logistics, inventory, regulatory compliance, and facility safety.
- Contractual Integrity: Assist in contract preparation and lead the negotiation of changes, revisions, and additions as the business scales.
Qualifications:
- Deep Technical Expertise in Steel Doors & Hardware: Expert-level knowledge of hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware. This includes a mastery of fire-rating requirements, life safety codes, and the ability to interpret complex hardware schedules and electrified opening requirements.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter with the ambition to build and lead a regional presence. You must be comfortable with both granular technical details and high-level business development.
- Advanced Technical Literacy: Extensive background in reviewing and identifying discrepancies within architectural, structural, and MEP documents.
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Dental care
- Employee assistance program
- Extended health care
- Life insurance
- Paid time off
