About AllnorthBIG ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW, SMALL ENOUGH TO KNOW YOU

Allnorth is a multidisciplinary engineering, project delivery, and construction services company. We provide smart and practical project solutions to clients in the metals and minerals, energy and renewables, fiber and chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. With offices across Canada and the United States, we continue to grow.

Our team is our most valuable asset, and a triple bottom line (TBL) philosophy is at the heart of our business. Safety is part of our DNA, we are committed to building and nurturing Indigenous relationships, supporting our communities, and recognizing the importance of environmental stewardship.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team on a maternity leave contract. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role plays a key part in supporting the effectiveness of HR operations by off-loading administrative and coordination activities from the broader HR team.

This position is well suited for an organized, detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working within structured processes, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. While this is not a recruitment role, the HR Coordinator will provide recruitment system and process support as needed.

Success in this role means being reliable, proactive and comfortable working with confidential information while supporting employees and leaders across the organization.

A Day in the Life

  • Coordinate and administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
  • Process and file employment packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness; follow up on missing or incorrect information
  • Draft HR documentation, including offer letters, employment change letters, layoff notices, and termination packages
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and filing structures (electronic and hard copy)
  • Support HR data tracking, reporting, and document control
  • Create and maintain HR templates, forms, and standard documents
  • Assist and facilitate onboarding activities in collaboration with Hiring Managers and the HR Business Partner
  • Support HR programs, initiatives, and compliance activities
  • Provide recruitment process support when required (e.g., system administration, interview coordination, documentation)
  • Learn and support HR workflows within UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group)

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role (HR operations experience preferred)
  • Experience working with an HRIS; UKG experience or willingness to learn UKG is a strong asset
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); comfort learning new systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional, service-oriented approach when working with employees and leaders

WE TAKE CARE OF YOU SO YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF OUR CLIENTS

In joining us you’ll face rewarding, career-developing challenges that enable you to contribute to our clients’ successes, and despite how much we grow, you’ll never be just a number, but rather a vital member of the Allnorth Team.

Engage with us at Allnorth and be empowered to enrich people’s lives, including your own.
