A highly regarded boutique business law firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its professional and collaborative team. This position plays a key role in supporting the firm’s corporate and transactional practice, providing comprehensive assistance on corporate records, governance, and M&A-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update corporate records and virtual minute books (BC, federal, and extraprovincial registrations).
  • Assist with corporate formations, reorganizations, amalgamations, continuations, and dissolutions.
  • Support M&A and commercial transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and digital closing binders.
  • Conduct BC Online and other due diligence searches and prepare summary reports.
  • Coordinate execution of transaction documents via DocuSign and organize closing materials.
  • Communicate directly with clients, lawyers, and external parties in a professional manner.
  • Provide backup support to other paralegals and assist on large-scale corporate projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal in a business law firm environment.
  • Completion of an accredited Paralegal program or equivalent education.
  • Securities and/or Real Estate Law experience a definite asset
  • Proficient with ALF, BC Online, DocuSign, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused, professional approach.
