Job Title: Sales & Marketing Enablement LeadLocation: Calgary, AB (in office)Reports To: VP, Business DevelopmentPosition Type: Full-TimeRole Summary

The Sales & Marketing Enablement Lead is a strategic support role focused on optimizing sales operations, marketing enablement, and cross-functional coordination. This position combines sales analytics, pipeline and productivity insights, large-order support, and internal marketing activities to empower Sales Team Leads and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The role ensures timely execution of complex orders, provides actionable insights from NetSuite, and drives targeted marketing initiatives such as SEO, competitive intelligence, social media, and customer email campaigns. As a part of the leadership team this person will be called upon to have a proactive approach to dealing with business related adversity.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Analytics & Reporting

  • Create monthly sales analysis based on NetSuite data, including segment, customer, and product performance.
  • Track progress on insights from monthly analysis and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Pricing & Margin Review – Review conversion rates; review margin performance; recommend adjustments and monitor impacts.
  • Maintain KPI dashboards and reporting for conversion and other performance metrics.
  • Review monthly sales rep productivity reports and NetSuite quote activity; provide insights on activity quality and pipeline hygiene.
  • Share daily and weekly sales trends with procurement to improve forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Backlog Review – Monitor open quotes and orders to identify delays, risks, and opportunities for acceleration; communicate priorities to Sales Team Leads; follow up on progress.
  • Conduct wins/losses analysis and develop action plans; follow up on assigned next steps.

Sales Enablement

  • Review quote pipeline health and support open quotes; analyze root causes of losses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate large orders, including next steps and milestone tracking; act as liaison with Operations, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Support SDRs on mid-size quotes as a subject matter expert for application requirements and logistics coordination.
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of handoffs and SLAs.
  • Align weekly with Sales Team Leads to share insights, coach on pipeline hygiene, and support quote follow-ups.

Marketing Enablement

  • Maintain accuracy of company website (load chart data, images, etc.).
  • Collaborate on SEO initiatives, including keyword updates and landing page feedback.
  • Execute targeted customer email campaigns, including segmentation, content QA, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Scan for competitive activity – Monitor competitor signals such as inbound shipment data, website changes, pricing updates, and summarize findings for leadership and sales teams.
  • Scan for industry updates – Identify bid opportunities, industry updates, and relevant market developments; share actionable insights with leadership and sales teams.
  • Manage social media presence (LinkedIn) with periodic updates and engagement.

Meetings & Administration

  • Participate in weekly Sales Team leadership meetings; weekly meeting with VP of Business Development; maintain documentation; update SOPs in the EOS system; maintain high communication levels with all stakeholders.
  • Support Sales Development Rep training (NetSuite tips/tricks; Microsoft suite tools, etc.).

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years in Sales Operations, Marketing Enablement, or Business Analytics (wholesale/manufacturing preferred).
  • Advanced Excel; familiarity with NetSuite dashboards; BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) a plus.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, margin analysis, and quote-to-cash processes.
  • Experience with email marketing tools, website content QA, and social media management.
  • Basics of SEO and ability to interpret web analytics.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Compensation

  • $90,000 - $110,000 (salary and profit share)
