Role Description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a full-time on-site role located in Bedford, NS, for a Sr. Bookkeeper / Administrator. The role involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, managing bookkeeping tasks, and tracking intercompany transactions. Responsibilities include recording journal entries, overseeing financial transactions, monthly reconciliations, and supporting administrative functions as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Financial Statements preparation, intercompany transactions and handling Journal Entries
- Strong skills in using Accounting Software and understanding Finance principles
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Prior 7+ years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting required
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Self-motivated and can work both independently as well as a team
