Finance Manager

Manager, Finance (21-Month Contract)

We’re hiring a Manager of Finance to support the administration and reporting of a private fund structure. This role works closely with senior leadership (CFO, Director of Fund Administration, Tax, and Investment teams) and plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and fund operations.

✅ Key ResponsibilitiesFund Administration

• Oversee fund operations including credit facility (draws, repayments, reporting)
• Prepare capital call & distribution notices
• Act as a key contact for investor (LP) inquiries

Financial Reporting

• Prepare quarterly reporting packages (FS, notes, LP capital statements)
• Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with ASPE reporting requirements

Valuation

• Support quarterly investment valuations in line with ASPE & PE valuation guidelines

Audit & Review

• Coordinate and lead annual audits (3 partnership entities)
• Manage audit deliverables (confirmations, working papers, etc.)

Tax & Compliance

• Partner with Tax team to prepare tax kits and review returns
• Prepare working papers for HST filings

Planning & Process

• Support tax planning forecasts
• Assist in improving financial processes, controls, and reporting

🎯 Ideal Background

• CPA designation (required)
• Strong experience in fund accounting / private equity environment
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Investran
