Must meet qualifications for the role. This position delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties. He/She performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages. He/She practices safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication. Responsibilities

  • Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving methods.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
  • Complies with UPS appearance guidelines
  • Excellent customer contact (to include excellent communication skills) and driving skills
  • Class 5 Full (non-GDL) Drivers License
  • Must provide current (within last 30 days) Personal Drivers Abstract
  • Drivers Abstract must show no suspensions or revokes of license within last five years, no-fault accidents within last three years, and no tickets within last twelve months
  • Meets local age (21 years of age or older) and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
  • Availability to work 5 days per week - Monday through Friday - 45+ hours a week
