As a TAC you will play a key role in supporting a diverse client portfolio in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact, you are responsible for managing the entire recruitment cycle and providing exceptional customer service to your portfolio and candidates. Duties
- Posting job opportunities, intake meetings, screening applicants, communicating job offers and monitoring new hires as they meet onboarding requirements.
- Working with portfolio managers to understand their hiring needs and recruitment plans to successfully fill roles.
- Create and maintain job postings that reflect the requirements of each role.
- Assist in maintaining talent pipelines for frequent ongoing demand for recruitment and hard-to-fill positions.
- Manage high volume and mass recruitment.
- Build and foster relationships with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Training and supporting Hiring Managers’ use of UHN’s automated job posting and applicant tracking system.
- Designing and updating screening and interviewing tools.
- Meeting internal stakeholder expectations, while ensuring that processes and practices adhere to employment legislation, collective agreements, and all applicable policies.
- Participating in other committees and projects as available and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field.
- Three years experience in a talent acquisition function.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Experience using LinkedIn to proactively source candidates.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a track record of providing superior customer service.
- Expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with high volume recruitment and unionized environments is an asset.
