The Role

We’re looking for a CPA (or CPA candidate at Level 3–4 minimum) who thrives on variety and flexibility. You’ll support multiple clients as part of our finance leadership team, working on:

• Monthly financial reporting packages.
• Job costing, inventory, and margin analysis.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Cleanup, system setup (QBO/ERP), and process improvements.
• Day-to-day support in areas such as reconciliations, payroll oversight, etc.

What You’ll Love

• Flexibility: Part-time (15–25 hrs/week to start), hybrid with office in Winnipeg (Crescentwood area), minimal face-to-face client time at first. Opportunity for full-time within a couple of months or immediately for the right candidate.

• Mentorship & Growth: Work closely with a CPA with 20+ years of manufacturing finance leadership experience. Whether you’re ready to step into a controller role now or growing toward it, there’s potential to advance into a fractional controller — and even fractional CFO — role.

Who You Are

• CPA (or Level 3–4 CPA candidate).
• 2+ years’ experience in industry/manufacturing, or a strong public practice generalist ready to transition.
• Strong with Excel; ERP exposure is an asset.
• Detail-oriented but able to see the big picture.
• Independent and resourceful but not afraid to ask questions.
• Based in the Winnipeg area.
