About the role

Field Operations Coordinator | Saskatoon, SK

Do you love solving logistics puzzles, building relationships, and being the person who makes sure the right people are in the right place at the right time? Our client is growing, and we’re looking for a Field Operations Coordinator to keep our crews moving.

In this role, you’ll build and manage crew schedules across the sites, matching people to projects based on their skills, client requirements, and the logistics of getting them there.

What you’ll do

  • Match the right crew to every job. Work closely with employees and Foremen to assign staff based on skills, experience, and team needs.
  • Build schedules that deliver. Create schedules that meet project and client requirements, and attend pre-job meetings to set the protocols that make each job run smoothly.
  • Coordinate across the business. Partner with Contracts on client changes, Training on pre-access requirements, and the Travel Coordinator on travel and accommodations, including international moves through our Global Mobility Process.
  • Keep everyone informed. Review and distribute Crew Info Sheets so crews, clients, and stakeholders always know who’s moving where.
  • Handle the curveballs. Manage last-minute staffing changes, including some evenings and weekends, and fit approved time off around operational needs.
  • Help build our future crew. Support HR with crew forecasting, place new hires on their first rotations, engage incoming employees before deployment, and build relationships with high-potential candidates and industry contacts.
  • Report as needed. Complete site-specific reports for clients.

What you bring

  • 3-4+ years of experience in a scheduling or logistics-focused role
  • Ability to stay calm and organized while juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A relationship builder who works well both independently and as part of a team
  • A strategic mindset, so your daily decisions support the bigger picture
  • A strong commitment to quality and to representing the company well
  • A valid driver’s licence and the ability to provide a current driver’s abstract each year

Why you’ll like it here

  • Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications
  • Eligibility for an annual performance bonus
  • 100% employer-paid benefits and an employer-matched RRSP after the 3-month probationary period
  • Family access to City of Saskatoon Leisure Centres
  • Real opportunities for career growth, development, and ongoing learning
