Litigation Paralegal – Vancouver, BC

Our client, a well-established and highly respected litigation firm in Vancouver, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys managing complex litigation files, taking ownership of their work, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft Notices of Application, application responses, and supporting court materials
  • Prepare, organize, and file application records and other litigation documents with the BC Supreme Court
  • Track and manage litigation deadlines in accordance with the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules
  • Draft, review, and manage Lists of Documents
  • Prepare and organize trial briefs and trial materials
  • Monitor compliance with court orders and maintain litigation calendars
  • Coordinate court filings and maintain organized litigation files
  • Support lawyers with trial preparation, case management, and file progression
  • Assist with large, complex litigation matters from commencement through trial

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defence
  • Strong understanding of the BC litigation process and court procedures
  • Experience drafting application materials and managing litigation timelines
  • Experience handling large, complex litigation files
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with legal drafting, document management, and court filing procedures

Compensation

  • Competitive salary ranging from $80,000–$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
