About The Role We are seeking an ArchitecturalJob Captain to join our Calgary team. This is a key technical role, responsible for leading the production and coordination of construction documents while supporting project delivery from design development through to construction. You will work closely with team members, overseeing project schedules, financials and deliverables and, helping to ensure projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and coordination of construction drawings and documentation
• Collaborate with consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical, civil) to ensure fully integrated designs
• Support project teams through design development, permitting, and construction phases
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, bylaws, and regulations
• Oversee deliverables, schedules, financial aspects and workloads
• Conduct quality control reviews of drawing sets and specifications
• Assist in resolving technical design issues and responding to RFIs
• Mentor and support junior team members where applicable

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in an architectural practice
• Strong experience working on a variety of projects including some larger scale project work, preferably with some public sector project experience
• Proficiency in Revit (required); experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
• Solid understanding of construction detailing, building systems, and coordination
• Knowledge of Alberta Building Code and local Calgary permitting processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
