Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Administrative Support Services Manager to oversee the backbone of our daily operations. In this role, you will be responsible for directing administrative staff, managing multi-departmental budgets, and ensuring our corporate governance and regulatory compliance are second to none. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy leader capable of balancing high-level planning with hands-on operational management.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of various administrative departments (Security, Finance, HR, and Purchasing).
- Financial Oversight: Collect and record service fees, assist in annual budget preparation, and maintain strict control over budgets for client projects, equipment, and supplies.
- People Management: Lead the full employee lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising both office staff and volunteers.
- Compliance & Governance: Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures to ensure organizational integrity.
- Strategic Reporting: Conduct research and prepare comprehensive reports/briefs for management committees to evaluate the effectiveness of our services.
- Logistics & Administration: Organize inventory maintenance and coordinate general administrative services to ensure a seamless workplace experience.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree (preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project.
- Systems Knowledge: Strong experience with Information Management Systems, MS Access, and Accounting Software.
- Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex information technology workflows and electronic communications.
Work Environment & Benefits
- Status: Full-time, In-person.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Language: French not required.
