What & Why:
Our client, a leading Canadian resource company, is undertaking a major SAP transformation, migrating from SAP ECC to S/4HANA to consolidate finance data onto a single enterprise platform. They are seeking an experienced Project Lead to join their Record to Report (RTR) workstream and drive execution of this critical initiative alongside their systems integration partner. Reporting to the Global Process Owner, Record to Report, the Project Lead is responsible for driving the daily execution of Finance SAP project activities. This is a project management role focused on governance, coordination, and delivery, not people management. The successful candidate will act as a key interface between the ERP Program office, workstream leads, and the systems integration partner, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

The organization is currently undergoing a significant corporate transformation, including a major systems and process modernization initiative, and is growing its footprint in support of long-term global demand tied to electrification and the energy transition.
This role is based at the company's corporate office in downtown Vancouver, on a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, with a focus on finance data migration. Prior experience on an ECC to S/4HANA transformation is strongly preferred, with FICO exposure considered an asset
- Demonstrated project management expertise. Proven ability to manage timelines, risk logs, and governance frameworks on large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives; PMP or PgMP certification is an asset but not required
- Finance domain knowledge. Sufficient understanding of finance processes and data structures to engage credibly with finance stakeholders; CPA or CGA designation is preferred but not mandatory
- Vendor and systems integrator management experience. Ability to manage deliverables and hold an SI (EY, in this case) accountable to scope, timeline, and quality standards
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. A collaborative style suited to working across cross-functional and siloed teams, with the presence to engage effectively at senior levels
Compensation:
This is a limited term contract; you will be on their client’s payroll and eligible for medical benefits as well as a completion bonus. This role offers a salary range of 138,000-170,000.
