We’re looking for a Director, Corporate Claims Quality Assurance & Training (SGI CANADA) to join our team and take the lead in delivering top-notch Corporate Claims quality assurance program, claims training program and continuous improvement framework for SGI CANADA (SGIC) claims.

  • Develop and implement a Quality Assurance framework aligned with corporate goals.
  • Lead independent claims audits, establish KPIs/KQIs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee claims training programs, collaborating with HR and technical teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic oversight on internal controls, risk management, and governance.
  • Build a high-performing team and champion leadership development across SGI CANADA.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor risks, and develop processes that set the standard in the industry.
  • Mentor and develop your team, building future leaders and fostering a culture of accountability and success.

Typically, these skills are gained through:

  • A four-year degree in Business, Mathematics & Applied Science, or Social Services.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience, including 6 years of leadership and 4 years in claims.
  • Expertise in QA methodologies, process improvement, and project management.
  • A proven track record of collaboration, innovation, leading change, analyzing data, and delivering strategic insights.
  • Outstanding communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
