Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Service Officer III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 12 and 4 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: $24 per hour Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities:
- Review and approve source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
- Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.
- Approve and audit data with source documents.
- Review and audit logs of activities and completed work.
- Manage daily email communications while processing non-financial transactions involving highly sensitive client information.
- Accurately review forms and input critical data across multiple systems, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs) within 24-48 hours.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- University degree is required.
- 4 years of financial or banking experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365- Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Quick learner.
- Problem solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
