Contract Length: 15 Months Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Raise is currently hiring an Administrator, Project/Construction on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection. Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable. Description Administrator, Project/Construction Management Team Technical Services to provide robust administrative and document control support to our construction management team. In this intermediate-level (4-9 years experience) role, you will be instrumental in facilitating smooth contractor mobilizations, maintaining rigorous document control processes, and ensuring seamless communication between contractors and project teams in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Deliver general day-to-day administrative coordination for the construction management team (CMT).
- Contractor Mobilization & Logistics: Coordinate end-to-end contractor onboarding, including pre-mobilization deliverables, travel logistics, safety training, and ongoing operational support.
- Construction Document Control: Administer project documentation efficiently, tracking and routing Requests for Information (RFIs), Site Instructions (SIs), and technical correspondence between contractors and the CMT.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a reliable communication link, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to keep workflows aligned and stakeholders informed.
- Process Execution & Prioritization: Apply exceptional attention to detail to manage high-volume administrative tasks and prioritize competing deliverables in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- 4 to 9 years of administrative experience, with previous background in construction, engineering, or project management environments considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated capability in managing project documentation, tracking correspondence (RFIs/SIs), and coordinating contractor onboarding or logistical workflows.
- A proactive, self-starting learner who independently masters new software, databases, and digital productivity tools with ease.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to foster strong relationships across internal teams and external contractor groups.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to independently prioritize tasks and thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Education and Certifications
- A post-secondary certificate or diploma in office administration, business administration, or a related discipline is strongly preferred. Equivalent combinations of relevant education and practical work experience within construction, engineering, or project environments will be considered.
