Performance Content and Creator Partnerships Manager
(Full-time, Canada)
Position Summary
Plume is entering a strong growth phase and is hiring a Canada-based Performance Content and Creator Partnerships Manager to support commercialization of our product line and scale our digital marketing capabilities in-house. This role will support product-market validation, improve content production efficiency, and build a repeatable performance content pipeline for paid media, lifecycle marketing, and organic channels.
The ideal candidate understands beauty content culture, is highly organized, and is motivated by measurable results. This is a hands-on role focused on building systems, coordinating creators, scaling content volume, and refining creative output based on performance data.
The ideal candidate is obsessed with beauty content, understands the difference between brand assets and performance assets, and thrives on producing high-quality content that drives measurable results.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Production and Execution
- Coordinate production of short-form video and image assets for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, email, and web.
- Repurpose and adapt existing content across multiple platforms using format-appropriate editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Collaborate with marketing on content planning, scripting, and performance iterations.
Creator and Influencer Management
- Identify and recruit aligned Canadian and U.S. micro-creators within the clean beauty and wellness categories.
- Manage outreach, onboarding, briefing, negotiation, and compliance.
- Build an organized roster and repeatable process for ongoing UGC production.
Performance Creative Operations
- Work alongside our in-house marketing team to support testing frameworks and publish multiple creative angles weekly.
- Review content performance and provide analysis on what messaging, hooks, and formats trend positively.
- Tag, file, and index content by campaign, product, hook, funnel stage, and performance metrics.
Content Infrastructure and Process Development
- Build and maintain a scalable content organization system (Notion, Drive, or DAM tool).
- Document workflows, templates, briefs, training guides, and best practices for future talent or expansion.
- Support the development of internal creative guidelines, voice frameworks, and production standards.
Success Measures (KPIs)First 90 days:
- 10–20 vetted creators onboarded
- 20–40 usable assets delivered
- Operational content library established
- Weekly testing cadence enabled
Six months:
- 50–100 assets produced monthly across formats
- 5+ consistent top-performing creatives validated through performance metrics
- Reduced lead time for new asset production
- Scalable content pipeline fully operational
Required Skills and ExperienceMust Have
- Experience creating, producing, or managing short-form content, ideally for beauty, skincare, wellness, or DTC brands.
- Demonstrated understanding of TikTok/Meta content culture, trends, and attention frameworks.
- Ability to structure projects, plan production cycles, and communicate with creators.
- Working knowledge of editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Strong organizational ability and comfort working with iterative feedback.
- Familiar with content management systems like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
Nice to Have
- Experience with UGC platforms, influencer CRMs, or freelance creator ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager creative formats, paid media best practices, and basic performance analytics.
- Experience within a startup, e-commerce, or consumer brand environment.
