**Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Flexibility possible on Fridays.**Job Description:
Our client is looking for a sales assistant. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the sales team, and your contribution will play a key role in the overall efficiency of our commercial operations. You will have the following responsibilities:
Handle the administrative management of all sales tasks: request for quotes, order receipt and shipping, service calls…
- Be able to prepare quotes as quickly as possible with sales representatives and in collaboration with the technical team.
- Answer phone calls for the sales department. You will be the company's main point of contact for representatives and for various distributors.
- Work closely with the company's various departments to resolve issues, improve internal processes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support the organization of sales-related events, such as customer presentations, trade shows, or events held at our premises.
Upon hiring, you will receive training to familiarize you with our products and management tools so you can quickly prepare simple quotes. We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- Thorough and well-organized in your work: attention to detail, meeting deadlines, customer focus, and ability to provide professional, high-quality service.
- Comfortable communicating and answering the phone in French and English (bilingualism required).
- Comfortable using Outlook email in French and English.
- Able to use Excel documents to track sales tasks.
- Have a college degree or equivalent experience in the sales field.
The following experience is an asset but not required for this position:
- Have previously worked for a company dedicated to the sale or manufacture of dental equipment.
- Previous experience working for a company dedicated to furniture manufacturing.
- Ability to read 2D architectural plans.
Salary: $22-$25/HR. to be discussed during the interview based on your experience.
Benefits: 3 weeks of paid vacation + 1 week between Christmas and New Year's Day, group insurance financed 50% by the company (individual or family plan, with dental coverage), RRSP option with company contribution.
