Role Description

This is a contract position for an Airborne Electronic Sensor Operator (AES Op) Contractor Qualified Flight Instructor. Based on-site in Winnipeg, MB, the role involves delivering high-quality instruction to trainees, preparing and presenting lesson plans, conducting in-flight and ground-based training, as well as evaluating and assessing student performance. The successful applicant will ensure training proficiency through adherence to established training standards and policies to support operational readiness and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in airborne electronic sensor operations, mission systems, and tactical aviation.
  • Instructional expertise in creating lesson plans, conducting practical training, and assessing student performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively deliver training and interact with trainees and personnel.
  • Relevant certifications, qualifications, or prior experience as a flight instructor or in aviation training is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic training environment and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
  • Commitment to safety, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with aviation operations in Canadian and international contexts is an asset.
  • Eligibility to work on-site in Winnipeg, MB.
