Job Description

Posted on: July 18, 2026

The Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of assigned enterprise products within the Data & Analytics domain. This role ensures products are strategically aligned, financially transparent, operationally sound, and effectively governed throughout their lifecycle.

The Product Manager acts as the single point of contact across product strategy, roadmap, vendor and contract management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with engineering, operations, architecture, finance, sourcing, and business stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Own and maintain a multi year product roadmap aligned with enterprise Data & Analytics strategy, architectural direction, and leadership priorities. Drive lifecycle management activities including enhancements, upgrades, and end of life planning.

Demand and Prioritization

  • Maintain a strategic view of product demand and backlog. Partner with engineering, operations, and architecture to prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and long-term platform sustainability.

Product Operating Model and Support

  • Define and oversee the product operating and support model, ensuring clear ownership, appropriate coverage, and alignment with contractual obligations and service expectations.
  • Governance, Catalog, and Provisioning
  • Own the product from a governance and catalog perspective, ensuring accurate representation in enterprise product catalogs and a clearly understood end to end provisioning lifecycle.

Vendor and Contract Ownership

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of vendor offerings, roadmaps, and contracts. Support renewals, extensions, and negotiations in partnership with sourcing and procurement, proactively managing lifecycle, pricing, and commercial risks.

Financial Oversight and Cost Transparency

  • Understand product financials, including pricing models, total cost of ownership (TCO), chargeback/showback, and cost allocation. Validate volumes and costs, support financial planning and modeling, and respond to business unit cost inquiries.

Stakeholder and User Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for product stakeholders and users. Gather and evaluate feedback, communicate roadmap and product changes, and ensure stakeholder input informs prioritization and investment decisions.
