Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Project Administrator (Site Based), whose primary responsibilities is to provide administrative support to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and site team to ensure smooth project operations. This position will be primarily site-based with camp accommodations provided. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test will be required as a condition of employment.

Project Details:

  • 14/7 schedule; camp-based

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate project personnel, shuttle, and camp accommodations
  • Assist with preparation and management of crew schedule
  • Assist in completing hire on and onboarding orientation for project personnel
  • Provide other technical office support as required
  • Record minutes and action items during on-site safety meetings
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team
  • Coordinate interdepartmental and contractor communications to ensure alignment on project needs and timelines

What You Bring to the Table

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related role will be considered an asset with preference for the in-field experience on mining/industrial construction sites
  • Preference for candidates with Business Administration diploma or similar
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to apply problem-solving principles to project challenges and present solutions
