Project Manager - Architecture

Salary: CA$110,000 – CA$130,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage residential and commercial architectural projects from concept through completion.
• Produce detailed working drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with Alberta Building Code, municipal bylaws, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal design teams.
• Conduct site visits, feasibility assessments, and monitor construction progress.
• Manage project documentation, including submissions, reports, proposals, and contracts.
• Adapt designs and solutions to meet evolving project requirements and resolve on-site challenges.
• Represent MHC professionally at client and site meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience managing residential and commercial projects with strong technical drawing expertise.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (mandatory); SketchUp, Photoshop, or 3DS Max considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of architectural systems, materials, and detailing.
• Familiarity with Alberta Building Code and local zoning regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
