Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Winnipeg, MB for a Commercial Drywall Estimator. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, evaluating project needs, analyzing specifications and drawings, and collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. The Commercial Estimator will assist in budgeting, determining material and labor costs, and managing project timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Construction Estimating and a solid understanding of costing processes
• Proficiency in Budgeting and Project Management, especially in managing time-sensitive and cost-efficient projects
• Knowledge of material specifications and construction methods, including expertise with roofs
• Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, presenting estimations, and negotiating contracts
• Keen attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with estimation software and tools is an asset
• A degree/diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
