Job Description We develop leading edge semiconductor and software solutions that are used by world-wide communications service providers to build their networks which connect 5G mobile, high speed residential broadband and business enterprise services to the Cloud, delivering the real-time connectivity, collaboration and content sharing services that bring us together. In joining our team, you will gain knowledge of, and continue to improve our advanced design and verification methodologies leveraging the latest tools and hardware verification languages. As a member of the team you will be mentored, trained and coached to become responsible for design and/or verification of functional blocks. As a part of the engineering team, duties may also include software development and product validation in addition to RTL design and verification. Responsibilities May Include

  • Work as part of a team dedicated to new product development. This can include block level, subsystem, or device level development
  • Understanding functional specifications describing high-level functionality of design and/or testbench components to be coded
  • Design activities include Hardware Description Language (HDL) coding of functional blocks as well as synthesizing of HDL to gates. Activities may include contributing to verification plans, reviewing synthesis results, design reviews and static timing analysis
  • Develop engineering documents
  • Develop and maintain requirements documents
  • Architect/Design/code functional blocks
  • Conduct reviews and audits
  • Coordinate with other teams
  • Track and report Progress
  • Verification activities include verification planning, testbench architecting, design, and coding with High Level Verification Languages (HVL) such as System Verilog. This includes contributing to design reviews, generation of verification plans, modeling, testbench coding, test case design, code, and debug to ensure that the designs satisfy the specifications and requirements.

  • Development teams are involved during the complete development cycle from feasibility to production and will be given the opportunity to participate in validation, software development, emulation, or customer support
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our development processes
  • Working with teams spread across large geographical/time zones
  • Assist in debugging and solving customer issues
