We are looking for an experienced law clerk to join our dynamic real estate group.
Summary Of Position
The ideal candidate will have experience assisting lawyers with a wide variety of commercial real estate matters and the ability to manage files from start to finish with minimal supervision. We are looking for one full-time, permanent candidate. This opportunity offer a great work atmosphere and an opportunity to work with welcoming and knowledgeable lawyers, clients, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years experience clerking on commercial real estate files.
- Completion of law clerk program or diploma, or an acceptable combination of education.
- Direct work experience in a commercial real estate law clerk capacity.
- Strong knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles, and terminology.
- Experience working with Teraview and Conveyancer, Lawyer Done Deal or Unity.
- Superior interpersonal skills to interact with lawyers, clients, and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Professional, enthusiastic, and positive work attitude is critical.
